As a rabbinical student, you will experience an extraordinary five-year journey that will expand your intellectual curiosity, nurture your search for spiritual meaning, and fulfill your aspirations to implement tikkun olam, the healing of our world.
You will have the unique opportunity to spend your first year of study at our Jerusalem campus. Surrounded by biblical and contemporary Israel, you will delve into Jewish text and Hebrew studies while strengthening your ties to the Jewish people worldwide.
For the next four years at our campuses in Cincinnati, Los Angeles, or New York, your studies with our renowned faculty will strengthen your knowledge of Bible, midrash, Talmud, rabbinics, Hebrew, liturgy, theology, literature, history, social policy, and more. You will develop the fundamental knowledge and credentials that will enable you to lead with authenticity and integrity.
Our renowned professional development courses and mentorship by rabbis in the field will hone your leadership skills. A broad array of experiences – including independent research, internships, student pulpits, teaching opportunities, chaplaincy, and social action projects – will allow you to begin implementing all that you are learning.
Your personal search for spiritual meaning will be nurtured by our initiatives, featuring spiritual guidance and participation in both traditional and innovative worship that will strengthen your ability to guide others.
During your journey toward the MA in Hebrew Letters/Literature and Ordination, you will develop the ability to articulate a clear vision of Jewish life, Judaism’s role in human existence, the meaning of Jewish history, and the nature of the ongoing relationship between God and the Jewish people.
Your future as a rabbi will be anything but ordinary.
