Students, faculty, administration, alumni, Board members, and community leaders came together across campuses during Spring to celebrate the Founders’ Day. Each campus marked the occasion with its own distinct ceremony. In Cincinnati, attendees honored our alumni who received their honorary degrees after 25 years of service to the Jewish people. The event featured Rabbi Richard S. Sarason, Ph.D. ’74 as the keynote speaker, making the day even more memorable. Meanwhile, our NYC campus celebrated the extraordinary 25-year commitment of Betty Blaustein Roswell, z”l and Arthur Roswell to the advancement of pastoral education. The day included insightful discussion, featuring a Keynote Speaker and Tefillah with a panel discussing, “Listening to What’s Hard to Hear.” Over on our LA campus, Founders’ Day was celebrated with an engaging program, including an azkarah for Rabbi David Ellenson, z”l, followed by lunch, and an opportunity to learn with professors including Rabbinical School Director Dvora Weisberg ’11, Ph.D, Professor Emerita Isa Aron, Ph.D., Professor Emerita of Modern Thought Rabbi Rachel Adler ’12, Ph.D., , and Rabbi Elliot Dorff, Ph.D.
