The Pines School of Graduate Studies Alumni Association sends warm greetings to alumni and friends this fall of 2023. We are proud of the amazing accomplishments of HUC-JIR graduate school alumni and looks forward to finding new ways to connect people and offer support.
Graduation
Graduation ceremonies for the Pines School of Graduate Studies were held in Cincinnati, May 19, 2023 / 28 Iyar, 5783. An insightful and motivating graduation speech was delivered by Dr. R. Marie Griffith of Washington University in St. Louis. For degrees in the PSGS, the degree of Doctor of Philosophy was conferred on Eric Anthony Barrios. Graduation Medallions were presented to alumni James E. Bowley and Stephen J. Andrews. Congratulations and best wishes to all who were honored.
SBL/AAR Alumni Gathering and Alumni Bibliography
We look forward to the annual November gathering of PSGS Alumni and friends in conjunction with the SBL/AAR meetings. This year’s gathering will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. Further details are forthcoming.
Finally, we continue to compile a bibliography of Pines School of Graduate Studies alumni publications. For those PSGS alumni who have not yet submitted a bibliography of their published works, feel free to send your bibliography to Dr. Hélène Dallaire at helenedallaire@denverseminary.edu.
