Alumni Relations efforts at HUC-JIR are proudly driven by the Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) and the Alumni Associations of the Rabbinical School, the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music, the School of Education, the Zelikow School of Jewish Nonprofit Management and the Nelson Glueck School of Biblical Archaeology. Together, they offer many programs and events for HUC-JIR alumni and their extended communities.
The Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) was formed to foster a mutually supportive and collaborative relationship between the College-Institute and its alumni by providing a voice for alumni, a connection between alumni and the College-Institute, and support to each of the Alumni Associations and the broad national and international network of alumni. The ALC is composed of the leaders of Alumni Associations and led by an Executive Team (Chair, Vice Chair, Member-at-Large, and Immediate Past Chair). Learn More
