Rachel Furst is a Research Fellow and adjunct lecturer in medieval Jewish history and Jewish law at the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich. Her current book project examines women’s encounters with law and justice in the Jewish courts of medieval Ashkenaz.
