During these challenging times, we invite you back to campus for a Shabbat filled with uplifting prayer, inspiring learning, delicious food, and meaningful connections with colleagues and Jerusalem faculty and students. Join us to welcome our Year-In-Israel Program students to campus for their first Shabbat together.
The day will include remarks from President Andrew Rehfeld, Ph.D. and the new Dean of the Jerusalem Campus, Dr. Nachman Shai. After lunch, we will hear firsthand stories about the inspiring work of our alumni and students in Israel in response to the ongoing crisis. The afternoon will feature time with fellow alumni rabbis in Israel who participated in HUC-JIR’s Golden Family Hanassi Fellows, a program focused on strengthening the bonds between Israeli, North American, and world Jewry.
