Sheri Besso

Sheri Besso, who joined the Cincinnati Skirball Museum in 2015, has over two decades of experience in the safe handling and preparation of works of art for storage, exhibition, and travel. Her involvement includes working for art institutions, artists, galleries, private clients, and businesses locally and regionally. At the Skirball, she is responsible for cataloging, photographing, condition reporting, and preparing artwork for display. She also directs exhibition design and installation of the permanent museum and temporary gallery spaces. Sheri received her A.D. from the University of Cincinnati, and her B.F.A. for Sculpture with an emphasis in Art History and Museum Studies from the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
