Lori Cromwell, Ph.D.

Lori Wright Cromwell, Ph.D. leads the strategy and daily operations of accounting, finance, human resources, legal compliance, and technology functions for all campuses of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.

Before joining HUC-JIR, Dr. Cromwell was Chief Business Officer at Candler School of Theology at Emory University, where she also served as the Director of Financial Operations for the enrollment services division, and as Senior Associate Director of Compliance and Financial Operations. Before these appointments, Dr. Cromwell worked in various positions at Turner Broadcasting Systems. She has also served as an adjunct instructor, a role she continues to fill at Southern New Hampshire University.

An Atlanta native, Dr. Cromwell is a graduate of the historic Tuskegee University, where she earned a B.S. in finance, and an MBA and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University.
