Students Leading Services in Jerusalem

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not currently holding Shabbat services at our Taube Family Campus in Jerusalem.

The Murstein Synagogue serves as a place of pilgrimage for the International Reform Movement as well the home synagogue for the Year-In-Israel program and the Israeli Rabbinical Program.  Visitors from abroad and Israelis from the Jerusalem community are invited to join HUC-JIR's students, faculty, and friends at Shabbat morning and holiday services.

Shabbat Morning Services:

Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30 am.

Following services, we invite you to tour our beautiful Taube Family Campus. The tour lasts about 20 minutes.

On dates when we are not holding t'fillah in the Murstein Synagogue, please visit one of the local Reform or World Union for Progressive Judaism / Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism congregations listed below:

  • Kehillat Har El, 16 Shmuel Hanagid, 054-4742314
  • Kehillat Kol Haneshama, 1 Asher Street, 02-6724878
  • Kehillat Mevakshei Derech, 22 Shai Agnon, 02-6792501

Services are free and open to groups and the public. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to bring a group with you.
