Kenneth Gilman

Ken retired from the business world, having had extensive Board of Director experience on six public company boards and two private equity backed portfolio companies. He currently is a trustee at three non-profit organizations in addition to HUC-JIR: The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, The Jewish Center of the Hamptons and is a founding board member of the American Battle Monuments Foundation, the adjunct non-profit affiliate of the American Battle Monuments Commission.

Ken, a former Naval officer who served in Vietnam, and his wife, Carol Feinberg, are members of Congregation Rodeph Sholom in New York City, live in East Hampton and have three children, Jordana, Herbie and Emma. He is interested in the continuity and trajectory of progressive Judaism in North America, Jewish text study and American history.
