Daryl Messinger

Daryl Messinger, elected on October 26, 2015

Daryl Messinger is the Immediate Past Chair of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and is the current chair of ARZA, the Association of Reform Zionists of America. She was the first woman to hold the top lay leadership position in the URJ, which is the largest and most diverse Jewish Movement in North America.

A dynamic leader with a track record of sustained involvement and success, Messinger has served in Reform Movement-affiliated organizations in a wide variety of roles. In addition, she currently is vice chair of Leading Edge, which helps Jewish organizations improve their workplace culture and leadership, and serves on the board of Israel Policy Forum.

Messinger is president of Messinger Associates, Inc. and has had various roles in both communications and investment management organizations.

She and her husband Jim Heeger live in Palo Alto, CA, and Lenox, MA.
