How to Register or Nominate a student to attend a High School or College event(s):
High school students can either register for an event with Jewish professional sponsor approval OR students can be nominated by a Jewish professional to attend.
To nominate one's self to attend:
- Student sends registration information to youthprograms@huc.edu.
- Registration MUST include the name and email of a Jewish professional sponsor. The sponsor can be a rabbi, cantor, Jewish educator, youth advisor or other Jewish professional.
- The Department of Youth Programs will email the sponsor for his or her approval that the high school student will be an asset to the event.
- Once sponsor approval is received, the high school student receives a registration confirmation by email. The confirmation email contains information concerning travel, accommodations, and a required code of conduct and health form.
Please do NOT make travel arrangements until you receive registration confirmation from
the HUC-JIR Department of Youth programs.

Rabbis, Cantors, Educators and other Jewish Professionals: We ask that you consider those truly exceptional 10th-12th graders and college students in your congregations and organizations. Who wants to go deeper in their Jewish learning? Who has the potential to be a great Jewish leader? Please nominate these students to attend a weekend of personal and spiritual growth at HUC!
To nominate a high school or college student:
- Please email nominees' names, email addresses, grade levels and the program for which you are nominating each student. Please also include your contact information. Email youthprograms@huc.edu.
- Please contact your nominees to encourage them to attend the weekend.
- The Youth Programs Department will then email students a registration form and invite them to attend the event for which he/she has been nominated.
College students: To register, please email your name, address and email address to youthprograms@huc.edu.
