Welcome to the HUC-JIR Department of high school and college programs!

The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion sponsors exciting events for high school and college students. Our dynamic study weekends provide hundreds of young people opportunities for deeper Jewish learning in a progressive Jewish environment. Participants study with HUC-JIR faculty and students at the historic Cincinnati campus of the HUC-JIR.

Nominate or Register Today!

  • Rabbis, Cantors, Educators and other Jewish Professionals: Nominate the best and brightest to attend the High School and College Weekends. Please email nominees' names, email addresses, grade levels and the program for which you are nominating each student. Please also include your contact information. Email youthprograms@huc.edu (or download a nomination form and fax the information). We will then contact the students to register them for the specific weekend.

  • High school students: To register, please email your name, email address, grade level and the program which you would like to attend. Be sure to include the name and email of a Jewish professional "sponsor." The sponsor can be a rabbi, cantor, Jewish educator, youth advisor or other Jewish professional. Email info. to youthprograms@huc.edu.

  • College students: To register, please email your name, address and email address to youthprograms@huc.edu.

The Department of Youth Programs founded more than 25 years ago, brings prospective leaders for the Reform Movement to our Cincinnati campus for experiential learning and leadership development. The success of Youth Programs is reflected in the significant number of HUC-JIR students in all of HUC-JIR's professional and graduate programs who have participated in these opportunities.
