Continuing to invest in our faculty so that the highest standards of teaching, scholarship, and mentorship will inculcate learning to the next generations of students. We are seeking to endow ten chairs as well as professorships for young scholars and to provide funds for faculty research, travel, and professional development.

Using cutting edge technologies to enhance outreach, strengthen training, and engage worldwide learners. We must be in a position to upgrade our computer systems as needed and to provide first-class distance education programs for our students, alumni, and the Reform Jewish community in general.
Museums, Libraries, Archives, and Archaeology Resources
Preserving our museums, libraries, archives, and archaeology resources to enrich Jewish sources of learning. New technologies will enhance access and use of these great treasures of the Jewish people for scholars and the Jewish community throughout the world. We are seeking to endow librarian, archivist, and curatorial positions and acquisition and conservation funds.
Curriculum and Academic Programs
Enhancing academic, intellectual, religious, cultural, and social life on all of our campuses. We seek resources to establish a fund for educational and programmatic innovation to test out new ideas in teaching, curriculum, adult education, and cultural programming. Facilities
Maintaining and improving our facilities as effective environments for teaching and learning for greater numbers of students. Our campus buildings and grounds are used extensively by our surrounding communities as well as for HUC-JIR activities. As we strive to offer the highest quality education, we must have the resources to assure that our physical facilities are well-maintained.
Continuing Education for Alumni
Providing professional development and continuing education programs for alumni. These programs offer opportunities for professional renewal and keep alumni up to date with new and evolving insights and developments within their fields.
Continuing Education for Adult Learners
Providing educational opportunities for adult learners and lay leaders within the Reform Movement, the greater Jewish community, and beyond. Online options and programs at all four of HUC-JIR's centers of learning include the Academy for Adult Interfaith Studies in Cincinnati, Beit Midrash /A Liberal Yeshivah in Jerusalem, New York Kollel, New York School of Education Continuing Education, Certification, and Professional Development Programs, Distance Education, Lay Leadership and Regional Programs, and more.
Progressive Judaism in Israel, the Former Soviet Union, and Worldwide
Strengthening Progressive Judaism in Israel, the former Soviet Union, and worldwide, in collaboration with the Israel Progressive Movement, World Union for Progressive Judaism, and ARZA. We hold the mandate to meet the leadership development needs of the burgeoning Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism, and to make a unique conribution to the cultural, intellectual, and religious scene.
