LUNCH AND LEARN
Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 12–2 pm
Join Julia Gardiner of the Clifton Branch of The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County for a light lunch and discussion of Steve Kluger’s Last Days of Summer. Set in 1940s Brooklyn, the novel chronicles the relationship between a fictional New York Giants player and a Jewish 12-year-old boy. This improbable friendship is woven together through letters, postcards, notes, telegrams, newspaper clippings, report cards and ticket stubs. The author will join us telephonically for part of the discussion.
Reservations required by August 22.
