This Founders' Day, the Klau Library's recent and impending retirees were honored as part of the day's ceremonies.
Marilyn Krider, who retired earlier this year, was thanked for over thirty years of dedicated service in both the American Jewish Periodical Center and the Interlibrary Loan Department of the Klau Library, and for her perseverance in fulfillment of requests from students, faculty, and the world-wide scholarly community.
Allan Satin will be retiring this summer after over 35 years of dedicated service in the Klau Library, where the HUC-JIR community benefited from his cataloging expertise and exemplary abilities to analyze and describe policies and procedures, and willingness to share his knowledge by teaching and example.
This Founders' Day marks the 200th birthday anniversary of Isaac M. Wise and was widely attended by HUC-JIR community. It is very fitting that Marilyn Krider and Allan Satin were recognized for their contributions on a momentous occasion such as this.
