PWR 2016 Keynote Speaker - Jonathan Kozol

Jonathan Kozol is an American author and activist best known for his work on the intersection of education and poverty in the US. He has authored 14 books since 1967 and is the founder of the Cambridge Institute for Public Education. Earlier in his career, Kozol worked as a Rhodes Scholar, public school teacher in Boston, a Guggenheim Fellow, Rockefeller Foundation Fellow, as well as a Fellow with the Field Foundation and the Ford Foundation.
