 Invitation to dedication of the Simha and Sara Lainer Be it Midrash at HUC-JIR/LA - Sept. 27 at noon You are cordially invited to the dedication of the Simha and Sara Lainer Beit Midrash Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at nooon - 1:20 p.m. Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion 3077 University Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90007 The Beit Midrash is funded by a generous gift from the Lainer family which has helped to establish Batei Midrash throughout Los Angeles at Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform institutions. HUC-JIR's Simha and Sara Lainer Beit Midrash will provide readily available and easily accessible print, electronic, and programmatic resources for students in students in the rabbinical, education, communal service, and Judaic studies programs at HUC-JIR/Los Angeles. We hope you can join the HUC-JIR/LA community for this special celebration of our newly designed Beit Midrash and pay tribute to the Lainer family for their leadership and generosity. A brief ceremony in the Gustine Weber Grand Hall will be followed by a celebratory lunch in the Simha and Sara Lainer Beit Midrash.
