How you can support HUC-JIR

Sefirah Study Program for all alumni, faculty, and students

During the weeks Pesach and Shavuot, alumni, faculty and students of the HUC-JIR community are invited to a study of "Talmud Torah as a Spiritual Encounter." The program, offered by the CCAR/HUC-JIR Joint Commission for Sustaining Rabbinic Education in partnership with the Department of Distance Education is the annual Sefirah Study program. This year's presenters are: Dr. Linda Thal, Dr. Norman Cohen, Dr. Eitan Fishbane, and Dr. Elsie Stern who will guide participants through an exploration and an experience of text study in a novel and contemplative way. If you are interested in participating in this seven-week, e-mail based program, please visit our website at www.huc.edu/jointcomm or call us at (513) 221-1875 ext. 397 (for Rabbi Ellen Nemhauser) or 333 (for Kari Hofmaister) and ask about our special rates.
