Rebirth After the Holocaust: The Bergen-Belsen Displaced Persons Camp, 1945-1950
The Katzet (Concentration Camp) Theater of the Bergen-Belsen Displaced Persons Camp, comprised of survivors who
were actors, directors, set designers, musicians and dancers, performed plays about the Holocaust and classics of
Jewish theater in a tent theater that seated 800 survivors at each performance, and toured throughout Europe.
