Presented in conjunction with the exhibition, Ora Lerman: I Gave You
My Song, this discussion will focus on artistic expressions of woman
and individuality. The Ora Lerman exhibition is a memorial retrospective
of the celebrated artist and daughter of Eastern European Jews who settled
in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Lerman's radiant and allegorical paintings,
sculpture and works on paper are on view at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish
Institute of Religion Museum from September 13 to December 16.
