DR. MARC BREGMAN GRANTED TENURE AS ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Dr. Marc Bregman has been granted tenure at the level of Associate Professor beginning July 1, 1997. He has been teaching at the College-Institute since 1978 as Lecturer in Rabbinic Literature (1978-81), Coordinator of the Classical Hebrew Studies Program (1981-86), Instructor in Rabbinic Literature (1981-91), Coordinator of Academic Program (1986-91) and Assistant Professor of Rabbinic Literature (1991-93) Associate Professor (1993 to present).

Dr. Bregman received his Ph.D. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1991. His scholarship has appeared in numerous publications, including Hebrew Annual Review, Journal of Jewish Studies, Journal of American Oriental Society, Tarbiz, Journal of Theological Studies, and the CCAR Journal.
