The Spiegel Seminar on Jewish Family Values at HUC-JIR/LA:

Thursday, October 15, 2009

The Spiegel Seminar on Jewish Family Values is a series of seminars that focus on stigmatized issues facing the community that students will confront during their careers. This year’s theme is “Abuse in the Jewish Community Throughout the Lifecycles.” With guest speakers, case studies, and professional insight, this series will expose HUC students and staff to one of the most deeply guarded issues in Jewish life. Please also join us in the spring for Session II: “Domestic Partner Abuse” and Session III: “Elderly Abuse.” Contact Jenna Fields at jfields@huc.edu to RSVP.
