Israeli Orthodox Newspaper Publishes
Dr. Yehoyada Amir on Franz Rosenzweig

On November 20th, the mainstream Orthodox newspaper Makor Rishon published Rabbi Prof Yehoyada Amir's article as a featured, showcased article in its literary supplement commemorating the 80th Yarzeit of philosopher Franz Rosenzweig. This is significant for a number of reasons. First, it indicates that this press is recognizing  Reform Rabbi Amir to its mass  Orthodox readers and offering Prof. Amir as the leading Rosenzweig scholar in Israel today. No less important is the very fact that Franz Rosenzweig is a subject of interest for this newspaper and its readership.
