In the wake of New York City's tragedy, reflections from children of
Holocaust survivors and perpetrators explore the enduring impact of traumatic
experiences. You can reflect on how the survivors and perpetrators of
evil integrate their experiences into their identities and consciousness.
This discussion will also explore how parents, children and communities
use altruism to ease pain and the intergenerational transmission of trauma,
memory and responsibility.
