Project Kesher: Women and Jewish Renaissance in Ukraine

Project Kesher, a program designed to help Jewish women of the Former Soviet Union recover their Jewish heritage and promote community activism, is evoked through the works of photographer Joan Roth, who captures the empowerment of ordinary women creating extraordinary change.

This work has been made possible through the generosity of the Reba Judith Sandler Foundation.
