Dalsheimer Rare Book Exhibit
Stamps

Since their introduction in the mid-nineteenth century, postage stamps have often been designed to be beautiful as well as functional. Commemorative stamps recognize important events or people while delighting the eye with their art. Among the Library's holdings are stamps from around the world which depict famous Jewish figures, events from Jewish history, and various Jewish themes. Of particular interest is a major collection of the stamps of the State of Israel.
