  President's Message Dear Friends: I'm delighted to welcome you to the Spring 2006 issue of Kesher, our new semi-annual online newsletter for alumni, students, faculty, administration, and friends of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. You can access the current issue, as well as past issues, at www.huc.edu/kesher. This electronic publication, disseminated via the Internet, enables us to transcend time and space in linking our HUC-JIR family throughout the world. We invite you to learn more about the extraordinary individuals who constitute our HUC-JIR community. We encourage you to share your news with us in future editions of Kesher.
