Dear Friends:

I am delighted to welcome you to Kesher, our new semi-annual online newsletter for alumni, students, faculty, administration, and friends of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.

This electronic publication, disseminated via the Internet, enables us to transcend time and space in linking our HUC-JIR family throughout the world.

We invite you to learn more about the extraordinary individuals who constitute our HUC-JIR community. We encourage you to share your news with us in future editions of Kesher.

In the future, Kesher will be posted twice a year, in January and July. The deadline for news submissions are December 15 for the January edition and June 15 for the July edition.
