Rabbi Stacia Deutsch, formerly Director of Outreach Education (HUC-JIR/Cincinnati), was named Director, Adult Jewish Learning and living Program (HUC-JIR/Los Angeles).

Marca Gay, formerly the Administrator in the Dean's Office, was named the Executive Administrator, Office of the President (HUC-JIR/Los Angeles).

Rabbi David Komerofsky, formerly Associate Dean of Students at HUC-JIR/Cincinnati, was named Director of the Rabbinical School and Dean of Students of HUC-JIR/Cincinnati, effective July 1, 2002.

Cindy Kutas, formerly Executive Assistant to the President, was named Administrative Director of Human Resources in July 2001 (HUC-JIR/Cincinnati).

Ilana Lipson, Administrative Assistant to the Dean (HUC-JIR/New York).

Judy Mann, Synagogue 2000's first Executive Director (based at HUC-JIR/New York).

Rich Rosenbaum, Assistant Director of Development and Public Affairs, Western Region (HUC-JIR/Los Angeles).

Dr. Paul M. Steinberg, who has served on the faculty and administration of the College-Institute since 1955, most recently as Special Assistant to the President, has been named Vice President for Communal Development (HUC-JIR/New York). He was elected Chairman of Faculty of the New York School.
