 Current Opening at HUC-JIR Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion Seeks Director for MA in Religious Education Program Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) seeks a Director for its Master of Arts in Religious Education Program located on its New York campus. MA in Jewish Education or equivalent is required; doctorate preferred. The successful candidate will bring visionary leadership to the position and will have the ability to work collaboratively with the faculties of HUC-JIR's Schools of Education. The Director of the MARE program will be responsible for all aspects of the graduate program designed to prepare Jewish educational leaders to serve in Reform Jewish settings and throughout the Jewish community, as well as for teaching in the program, supervising the Miller High School Honors Program and the Leadership Institute. The Director will also be engaged in the College-Institute's Jim Joseph Foundation Education Initiative.
