Scaling new heights: HUC-JIR’s Year-In-Israel
rabbinical, cantorial, and education students explored Israel’s
southern region by visiting a variety of communities, learning
about their diverse populations, and experiencing the spir-
ituality of the desert. They ascended Mt. Shlomo in the Eilat
Mountains, one of Israel’s most beautiful mountainous sites.
