Weinstein asks, “When addressing the issues related
to the human condition, there is the question of one’s
personal moral turning point. When does one make
the decision to review ones own sense of morality,
ethical values, and religious beliefs in accepting the
other or be blind to them? Does one choose to
review, change, and progress or remain fixed and
unmovable? On the other hand, we can also ask
ourselves, is change always a good thing?”

Song of Songs
is one of the five
megillot
(
scrolls) in
the Bible. It is traditionally understood as a love song
between three possible couples: a man and a woman,
God and the people of Israel, and the Israelites and
the land. This work celebrates the feeling of an open,
timeless love for God, and the commitment and
devotion expressed between earthly lovers.
