Dr. Weisman, Head Librarian of the Frances-Henry Library in Los Angeles and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies, was born in Israel and is a veteran of the 1973 Yom Kippur War. She brings to HUC-JIR a rich history as a writer and a critic.
