 Uri D. Herscher 
Rabbi Herscher, ordained at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati, was for twenty-five years, a member of the HUC-JIR national administration, as Director of Admissions, as Assistant to the President, and ultimately as Executive Vice President of HUC-JIR. He holds a professorship in American Jewish history and has a number of publications in that field to his credit. He retains faculty status at HUC-JIR in LA, and serves as President and CEO of the HUC-Skirball Cultural Center.
