Avraham Biran

Dr. Biran is the Director of the Nelson Glueck School of Biblical Archaeology of HUC-JIR/Jerusalem. He has served the State of Israel in various positions, including Governor of Jerusalem, Consul General of Israel for the Western United States, Director, Armistice Affairs in the Israel Foreign Ministry and Director, Israel Department of Antiquities and Museums before becoming Director of the NGSBA.
