Song of the Land is a juried exhibit of 44 works from across the country whose theme challenges artists to consider contemporary issues of environmental sustainability. It not only shares concerns about what is happening to the world physically and spiritually, but offers a challenge to protect the planet in order to ensure the future of Earth’s blessing. This exhibit is co-sponsored by HUC-JIR and the Jewish Women Artists Network (JWAN), the only national non-profit group of professional Jewish women artists in the country and a self-selected special interest group within the Women’s Caucus for Art. Ruth Weisberg, artist and former Dean of USC’s Roski School of Fine Arts, juried the exhibition. The reception is free and open to the public.
