Rabbi Naamah Kelman Serves as Panelist at "From Hatred of the Other to Acceptance of the Other"

Rabbi Naamah Kelman, Dean, HUC-JIR/Jerusalem, will participate in The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities seminar, "From Hatred of the Other to Acceptance of the Other" on Sunday, October 19, 2014. President Reuven Rivlin will attend the opening ceremony. 

Rabbi Kelman will participate in the panel, "The Tolerant Aspect in Judaism to the Other and ways to its Advancement," chaired by Professor Shlomo Avineri, Member of The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities. Co-participants include Rabbi Menachem HaCohen, Rabbi of the Moshavim Movement and Chairman of the Israel Jewish Council for Interreligious Relations; Professor Rachel Elior, Professor of Jewish Philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Rabbi Dr. Donniel Hartman, President of the Shalom Hartman Institute; and Rabbi Dr. Yoel Bin Nun.
