Du-Siach: Building an Open Dialogue About Israel 50 Years After 1967

Build spiritual and educational leadership skills through this intensive three-day seminar open to education, cantorial, and rabbinical students and alumni of HUC-JIR and The Jewish Theological Seminary.

The seminar will include:

  • Building a Culture of Dialogue - Rabbi Melissa Weintraub, Resetting the Table
  • Beit Midrash and Text Workshop - Rabbi Jill Jacobs and Rabbi Lev Meirowitz-Nelson, T’ruah
  • Diaspora-Israel Engagement in the Shadow of 1967: Lessons and Approaches - Dr. Ilan Ezrachi
  • The Musical Reverberations of 1967 - Elad Kabilio, MusicTalks

This seminar, limited to 40 participants, seeks students and alumni from across the religious, social, and political spectrum. Attendees must commit to full participation in the seminar. This intensive seminar is generously supported by a grant from UJA Federation–New York. Participants from outside the New York area will be required to cover their own expenses for transportation and housing. HUC-JIR students are eligible to earn one credit.
