The Reverend Ann Akers is Director of the newly established HUC-JIR Interfaith Doctor of Ministry in Clinical Education for Pastoral Ministry Program since 2010.  She received her Master of Divinity degree at Yale Divinity School, is an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America, and licensed psychoanalyst, with 35 years of pastoral ministry experience, 30 years in private practice and 16 years of teaching.

She leads retreats, conducts workshops, teaches meditation, and guest preaches in vacant pulpits.
