High Holy Days 5778 in Jerusalem

The Taube Family Campus of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Jerusalem invites you to join us for High Holy Day services:

Rosh Hashanah

  • Erev Rosh Hashanah: Wednesday, September 20 - 6:00 pm - Murstein Synagogue (entrance at 13 King David Street)
  • Rosh Hashanah Day 1: Thursday, September 21 - 9:30 am - Murstein Synagogue (entrance at 13 King David Street)
  • Rosh Hashanah Day 2: Please contact our local Reform synagogues. No services will be held at HUC-JIR/Jerusalem.

Yom Kippur

  • Erev Yom Kippur: Friday, September 29 - 6:15 pm - Blaustein Hall, Merkaz Shimshon-Beit Shmuel (entrance at 6 Shama Street)
  • Yom Kippur: Saturday, September 30 - Services at 9:30 am, study sessions at 3:00 pm, mincha/yizkor/ne'ilah at 4:00 pm - Blaustein Hall, Merkaz Shimshon-Beit Shmuel (entrance at 6 Shama Street)

Prayers will be led by Rabbi Michael Marmur, Ph.D., Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Provost; Rabbi Naamah Kelman, Dean, HUC-JIR/Jerusalem; Rabbi Haim Shalom; Rabbi David Wilfond; Cantor Tamar Havilio; and HUC-JIR rabbinical, cantorial, and education students. We will be using the Mishkan HaNefesh Machzor.

No tickets needed for Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur services.
