The 2013 Summer session kicked off in mid-June with the annual Orientation and Retreat and the start of classes... here's a look at what's coming up this summer!

June 18: Lunch & Learn Series begins

This summer's "Lunch & Learn Encounter Seminar" will be focused on the topic: "Trends in (Jewish) Philanthropy." Cosponsored this year with Jumpstart, a dynamic LA-based nonprofit working to advance the "Jewish innovation ecosystem," the seminar will serve as a follow-up to Jumpstart's highly successful recent philanthropy summit: "Innovation to Transformation: Changing Jewish LA, Changing LA Jewishly."

The seminar will take place every Tuesday from June 18th to July 30th from approximately 12:15-1:30 PST. LA area alumni are invited to attend, but an RSVP is required since there is limited seating in order to maintain the integrity of a graduate seminar (contact Mikaela Landis or 213-765-2117).
