
Due in large part to the growing number of Reform Congregations worldwide, as well as the increased understanding of the number of professionals needed in any one institution in order to best serve the needs of the Jewish community, employment opportunities for all graduates of HUC-JIR are numerous and varied. Graduates serves as clergy, educators, administrators and program directors in congregations of all sizes. Many graduates choose careers as Hillel staff, camp directors or educators in day schools; or in Jewish Community Centers, Federations or other Jewish institutions. Some graduates continue their studies in order to earn a Ph.D. and return to educational institutions in order to educate the next generation of Jewish professionals.
