Tuition for the Certificate in Jewish Education for Adolescents and Emerging Adults is $3,000 and other costs include books, travel, and admissions fees to HUC-JIR. The application fee is $75 and the enrollment fee is $150.
We offer generous travel stipends and this program should cost a student no more than $4,000. Many congregations and organizations cover this cost because they see it as an investment in their employee.
Scholarships are not available because everyone benefits from the generosity of the Jim Joseph Foundation. The program is heavily underwritten and without their support, a year’s tuition would cost about $21,000.
