During the last year, HUC-JIR raised over $6.7 million in annual operating income, an increase of almost 22 percent. An additional $5.9 million was given for special, restricted programs and initiatives, and $1.1 million was given to permanently restricted programs. HUC-JIR receives 44% of all MUM dues contributed by congregations; the remaining 56% goes to the URJ. The balance of HUC-JIR's annual operating budget is supported through tuition and endowment income.
