Index to Jewish Periodicals

A periodical index for Jewish studies, providing citations to English-language articles in over 160 journals devoted to Jewish affairs. Coverage back to 1988.

JSTOR

In-house use or login through the Jewish Studies Portal.
JSTOR includes journals and primary source materials. While JSTOR does not include as many journals as other databases, its strength lies in the fact that it goes back and digitizes the entire run of the journal, often going back over 100 years.  See our tutorial for hints on how to use this resource.

RAMBI, The Index of Articles on Jewish Studies

RAMBI - This open access database is produced by the National Library of Israel. It contains citations to scholarly journals and chapters of books in several languages on the topics of Jews, Judaism, Israel, humanities and social science.

Google Scholar "enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research" There are some links to full texts and many citations. (open access)
