Sima Haruv, M.A.
Professor of Hebrew and Biblical Grammar Biography: Sima Haruv, a native Israeli, teaches Hebrew and Biblical Grammar at the Jerusalem campus of HUC-JIR. Sima has taught Hebrew and Arabic and didactic seminars for teachers of Hebrew and Arabic in various universities in Israel and the United States: Hebrew University, Ben Gurion University, Yeshiva University and Stern College. She was a 'Shlicha' of the education department of the WZO on the west coast (1993-1996). She served as the coordinator of Hebrew at the Curriculum Center of the Stae of Israel's Ministry of Education for grades 7-12. In this capacity she specialized in curricula writing and assessment.
