Rivka Dori, M.A., M.S.

Director of Hebrew Studies

Professor Rivka Dori, a native Israeli, is the Director of Hebrew Studies at HUC-JIR/Los Angeles. She teaches in the Jerome H. Louchheim School of Judaic Studies. Professor Dori received her teaching credential in Israel, a B.A. in religious education from the University of Judaism, a M.A. in Hebrew Education from HUC-JIR, and M.S. in teacher education from the University of Southern California. In 2003 professor Dori received an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy from HUC-JIR. Her specialties in addition to Hebrew language and culture instruction are applied linguistics, teacher training and confluent education.
